Ken Mann has over 20 years of pastoral counseling experience with individuals and couples and is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern IMH 26870. Ken completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University and also holds a Master's of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Ken has worked in various pastoral roles since 2011 and also holds several certifications in premarital and marriage counseling. He is experienced in leading weekend marriage intensives aimed at saving troubled marriages. Ken places special emphasis on practical application of communication skills, effective conflict resolution, and understanding of deep relationship dynamics. In his theraputic role he pulls from Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Kens belives that as people, we desire to live a fulfilling lives with deeply satisfying relationships. Most people simply need help understanding how to get to that goal. His goal for his clients is to not only help them know WHAT to do, but also understand WHY certain steps are important for success in their relationships.
Married for over 25 years and the father of two children, Ken enjoys reading, cooking and weightlifting. He loves trying new foods and has no natural resistance to chocolate chip cookie dough. His idea of relaxation includes time with family (including his dog, Buddy) on the beach or in the mountains.
