Kaprece Stallings, M.S.

Kaprece is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, MH 24459 in the state of Florida. She has a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is a member of American Counseling Association and a clinical member of the National Christian Counseling Association in Sarasota, FL. Kaprece has 10 years experience in Christian Counseling. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy.  She has worked with adults, teens, and children with physical, emotional, and sexual abuse issues along with first-responders with PTSD issues. She also has experience working with adults and teens with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, broken relationships, and spiritual issues.  Kaprece is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) interventions. She is also certified to assess temperament/personality through the Arno Profile System that utilizes the FIRO-B assessment. 

Kaprece's goal is to help each client engage their own process of healing, while encouraging her clients to find meaning and strength in their own story. Kaprece’s heart is to offer an undivided presence that provides unconditional positive regard and compassion. Although her theoretical framework is based on Bowlby’s Attachment theory, her approach is individualized to each client and eclectic in nature utilizing interventions from Gestalt, EMDR, and Narrative therapies. Kaprece also utilizes Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) in working with couples.   

Kaprece resides in Winter Garden. She enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and camping and enjoys water sports such as wake-boarding and tubing. Her greatest joy is to experience the transformative power of traveling with her two teens.
