Megan White, MSW, LCSW

    

Megan  is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker SW4233 and has over 20 years of  professional experience counseling individuals, couples, families and  children. Megan earned her B.S. in Psychology from Louisiana State  University in 1991, and her Master of Social Work (MSW) with an emphasis  in marriage and family counseling from Florida State University in 1993. Megan has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1995. She  is also a Qualified Supervisor for Licensure. Megan specializes in  helping adults, teens, and children dealing with depression, anxiety,  abuse and trauma, grief, relationship issues, communication  skills, eating disorders, coping skills, self esteem issues, and family  of origin issues. 

  

Megan  began working in the mental health field in 1992 in both hospital  inpatient and outpatient settings.  She began working in private  practice in 1994.  Megan worked in the adoption field for 20 years and  has extensive experience in helping individuals and couples struggling  with infertility and the loss of a child through death, stillbirth, or miscarriage.  She is the founder of the Central Florida chapter of  RESOLVE. Megan has facilitated grief groups, sexual abuse recovery  groups, infertility groups, and has been a frequent speaker at churches  leading talks and workshops on mental health issues.  Megan believes in  the importance of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.


Megan has been married  for over 20 years and has two children. Megan enjoys any activity outdoors, spending time with family and friends, decorating,  traveling, reading, and volunteer work.
