Greg is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, MH12399, and enjoys working with adults, couples, and adolescents ages 15 and up. Greg earned his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2011 and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Franklin Pierce University, class of 1987. Greg’s experience as a counselor includes helping clients with personal growth, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress reduction, drug/alcohol abuse, and spiritual issues.
Greg is Master Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and uses ART for trauma related issues along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) dependent on the client needs and issues addressed.
Greg also brings over 30 years of experience serving in various corporate technical and management roles. This experience uniquely qualifies him to counsel those with a need for career exploration and transition. Additionally, he served nearly 10 years in active duty in the U.S. Air Force and is comfortable dealing with current and former military clients struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as issues associated with adjusting from military to civilian life.
Greg and his wife have one adult son and have been married for over 40 years. They enjoy domestic and international travel as well as spending time together outdoors and antique shopping. Greg’s personal interests include reading, sports and spending time with friends. He is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and a volunteer leader in his church’s Stephen Ministry program.
