Emily is a student intern who is earning her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a Registered Behavioral Therapist with a history of working with adolescents and teens with autism and other related disorders using Applied Behavior Analysis. Emily has a passion for youth and loves to bring creativity and imagination into her sessions with children and adults alike. Play Therapy, Music and Art Therapy, Psychodrama, and CBT Therapy are utilized during Emily’s sessions to explore behaviors and promote change. Her areas of interest include problem behaviors with children and teens, childhood trauma, divorce/relationship issues, sexual addictions, eating disorders, self esteem, and anxiety. “Isn’t it funny how day to day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different…” C.S. When Emily is not working with people, she can be found training exotic animals for the local zoos and aquariums. She loves musicals and broadway, and on occasion you may hear her singing a few show tunes.
